This Refund Policy explains when and how you can get your money back. It forms part of our
Terms of Use - where the two documents overlap, the Terms of Use prevail.
Brighter is operated by Daria Guseva Brighter Analytics, Czerniakowska street 174, Warsaw 00-440, Poland, VAT NIP 7011303570.
1. Free PlanBrighter can be used without payment. You can try the product, run a real task and see the result before you buy anything. We recommend using the free plan first, so that a paid subscription is never a guess.
2. SubscriptionsSubscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period and renew automatically at the then-current rate unless auto-renewal is switched off. You can switch off auto-renewal at any time in your account billing settings; access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
Cancelling a subscription stops future charges. It does not by itself refund the current period - see section 3 and 4 below.
3. Right of Withdrawal (EU, EEA and UK Consumers)If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU.
Brighter is a digital service that starts immediately. At checkout you are asked to confirm two things separately:
• that you expressly request the Service to begin during the withdrawal period, and
- that you acknowledge you will lose the right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed
This follows Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU. In practice:
• **If you have not used the paid features**, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase and receive a full refund.
- **If you have started using the paid features**, you may still withdraw within 14 days, and we will refund the amount in proportion to what remains unused.
To withdraw, write to info@brighter.rocks from the email address on the account, within 14 days of the charge. No particular form is required, but stating the order and the date helps us process it faster.
4. Refunds Outside the Withdrawal PeriodBeyond the 14-day window, subscription payments are generally non-refundable, because access has already been provided for the period paid for.
We will nevertheless refund you in full if:
• you were charged after cancelling, or charged twice for the same period
- the Service was unavailable for a substantial part of the paid period due to a fault on our side
- a payment was made without authorisation from the account holder
If you believe one of these applies, write to info@brighter.rocks with the details. We would rather return money than keep a payment that was not fair to take.
5. CreditsCredits included in a plan are part of that plan and are not separately redeemable for cash. Unused credits do not create a right to a refund on their own, but they are taken into account when calculating a proportional refund under section 3.
6. How Refunds Are PaidApproved refunds are returned through Stripe to the original payment method. We start the refund within 5 business days of approving it. How quickly the money appears depends on your bank or card issuer, and is usually a further 5 to 10 business days.
We do not charge a fee for processing a refund.
7. Price ChangesIf we change subscription prices, the new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you before it takes effect. You can switch off auto-renewal before the renewal date if you do not want to continue at the new price.
8. ComplaintsIf you are not satisfied with how we handled a refund, write to info@brighter.rocks. Most disputes are resolved informally within 14 days.
Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under Polish or EU law.
